Course Objectives:
◊Students will apply both mathematical and conceptual problem solving skills to demonstrate competencies both individually and collaboratively for each theme presented.
◊Students will apply mathematical methods of laboratory measurements including scientific notation, significant figures, algebraic manipulations and graphical representation.
◊Students will use graphing calculators as a means of gathering and analyzing laboratory data.
◊Students will achieve a historical perspective for our current understanding of physics as well as recognize science as a dynamic and evolving field of study.
